Moveable Temperature Sensors
Hypodermic Needle Sensors are manufactured from full hard, seamless, type T316L certified stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance & strength. The use of medical quality tubing and “Din Class A” temperature elements insure reliability and long life and is ideal for scientific research applications. The sensor pictured has a 4” long x 0.083 O.D. sheath and has a temperature range of –40ºC to 250ºC. Thermocouples are manufactured with a 0.010” outside diameter sheath. They are commonly manufactured as Type J, T or E thermocouples.

BI Metallic Thermometers
Semi Permanent installations use a sanitary thermowell, while moveable temperature sensors and its wiring is located directly inside the sterilizer chamber thru a connection fitting (ISO-228-GIA) to provide vacuum and pressure-tightness.
These types of sensors are commonly used in;
a. Porous-load sterilizers
b. Fluid sterilizers
c. Dry-heat sterilizers
d. Low-temperature steam disinfectors
e. Low temperature steam and formaldehyde sterilizers

Project Three
3A Sanitary Temperature Sensors
Sterilization refers to any process that effectively kills or eliminates transmissible agents from a surface, equipment, article of food or medication, or biological culture medium. Sterilization can be achieved through application of heat, chemicals, irradiation, high pressure or filtration. High accuracy 3A sanitary sensors are used for precise tempeature control of these processes.
